I was born and raised in the marvelous city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I currently live with my wife, Lori, in the small but cozy community of Scappoose, just North of Portland Oregon. At the age of 17 I left my family, friends, and school to become an exchange student in Watkins Glen, New York. Over 15 years later I am still in close contact with my host family. In 2007 we hosted our first exchange student, Andrea from Italy, and had a great experience. Now, as a local coordinator, I hope to provide host families and international students the same unforgettable experience that once changed my life. I enjoy sports, the outdoors, and traveling.
