Host families learn a new culture and share experiences with a teen-ager from an overseas country. By living as a member of your family and participating in both school and community activities, your student will develop an awareness of the American way of life that would be impossible to acquire in any other way. Hosting Exchange Students is a two way culturally enriching process for both the student and the host family. Hosting an exchange student extends your family and their family into a large pool, that helps provide the basis for understanding and respect - two key ingredients to maintaining peace in our world.
